The United States Mint is continuing its American Women Quarters program in 2025.
This is the final year of the four-year program which creates quarters highlighting the accomplishments of trailblazing American women.

I have an album going including proofs and silver. Fun little set.
Me too. It's an easy set to get...so current and not too big! Don't forget the next series will be SPORTS.
I've been buying the proof sets for my 2 granddaughters

The program ideas are nice and everything, but I think we're at 'Program fatigue' now. I didn't realize they have another one lined up for sports.
There have been some very interesting and innovative designs in this series. I hope that innovation continues into whatever follows. It may actually stimulate some interest among new collectors.
Iwas looking at that earlier today. I stopped after the national parks coin. Might just put something together 🤔
I am glad this is the last year. In my opinion, the designs were not eye appealing because the designers tried to fit too much in to the fields.
However, the 2025 quarters do look much better except for the Dr. Vera coin. Again, the designer crowded the field. 🙄
Looking forward to the Sports series. Have the images been released by the mint?
Glad to see it retired. However, we next have youth sports, from 2027 through 2030, and I will completely pass on that one.
I thought it was a great series. Have to agree, some of the designs were a bit overworked, and some downright ugly, but some are really beautiful in my opinion, including Maya Angelou and Anna Mae Wong, '22, and Maria Tallchief, '23, who was a childhood heroine of my Sister who is a career Ballet Dancer.
Best of all, I have been able to get my Granddaughters, and one of my Grandsons, interested in collecting through these. If nothing else, it's great to see the mint being intentional about recognizing women on American Currency, in my opinion, and on top of that if anything gets younger folks interested in collecting, just for the sake of it being fun, and educational, I'm all for it.
That said, perhaps it's true, as some have said above, that we are at ''program fatigue''...but then again, this may not be true for a new generation of collectors. Innovation is disruptive to the status quo, and that's not all bad. The State Quarters were actually what got me interested in collecting again...I had intended to quite collecting circ coins after the Natl Parks but this series resparked my interest...especially as it got my Grandkids attention. And as I said, that's great in my view.
I putting a set put together for my Granddaughter also, picked up a collection board from the mint (N/C and also ships free after three orders) I'm using the (S) quarters.
Collection board sounds cool..I will check it out. Not too impressed with what Whitman\Littleton etc. are coming up with. Where are you getting the S coins...buying rolls from the mint I assume?
The idea was nice but the whole program was poorly executed. Not knowing who was going to be honored each year ahead of time was problematic for some collectors and particularly for Whitman folders (Honoree 1, Honoree 2...) and I expect the same for the following youth sports series. Limiting the "S" quarters to the three roll set really didn't do anyone any favors either.
There is no stopping the "program fatigue." I don't care if the Mint continues having series after series, but have a consistent design year after year that is put into circulation alongside whatever else they decide to do.

Why did the mint choose quarters to have ever changing designs, but basically left the other coins alone? Sure the cent got a new shield, the nickel was updated, the dime untouched, Kennedy continues strong...but those quarters....every couple months get a new design...alright, the Sacagawea was holding strong until nine years later, they decided to call it the Native American Dollar and change the reverse annually. Small dollars have become like the quarter program too starting with the presidents and now innovations with a new dollar for every state. I would also rather a consistent design and hold that design for at least a few years.
