Glad they’re made in USA.
But they don’t fit sideways in a safe deposit box (unlike PCGS boxes). To me, that’s a negative.
Haven’t used a SDB in many years. Are there standard sizes, as seems to be implied above?
Banks that are still in the SD box business tend to have varying sizes. Unfortunately, it’s not an aspect for many of them to offer that service anymore. The few that remain all seem to say it’s a potential liability & continue to offer it only as a service to their customers.

For a SDB? Standard widths are 5” and 10” (and maybe 3”).
Since a PCGS box is less than 10” long, I can fit 17 boxes (340 slabs) in a 10x10 SDB.
But I can only fit 14 NGC boxes (280 slabs).
It varies by bank but the standard small ones are 2x5x15 or 3x5x15. Anything larger than those can be hard to come by as the owners tend to keep them for a long time.
I have 5x10x15 and it's perfect for a few boxes, some oversized slabs, and miscellaneous. I had a 12x12x15 and it was massive and way more than a I needed.
So when CAC ships out slabs, aren't they shipped out in these boxes?

Thanks.
Sounds like CAC might have paid a bit more attention to the standard slab and box sizes, which I would say is PCGS. Definitely a first world problem tho, like any on the forum.
What does the inside of the lid look like? Is it plain like a PCGS box lid or does it also have ribs that hold the slabs?

CAC will have my full throated support when they come out with a custom orange box.
Until then, I will stick with PCGS.
I don't have a lot of any one TPG'er slabs. I have ANACS new (plus old soap bars), ICG, CAC, SEGS, NGC, VSS and PCGS.
I like this generic box because they all fit.

It looks like the boxes will fit PCGS and NGC. Hopefully ANACS too.
I like having TPG specific boxes so that my slabs sit nice and snug and don't bang around inside the box. I just wish I had a better solution for my ANACS soap box holders.
None of the slabs I mentioned bang around inside the box. You just have to be smarter then the box.

Where did you get those insert/sleeves!? ⇊
.
These little old rattler's ⇊ do NOT fit into std boxes. They are way loose without a baggie, etc to bulk them up...
.
Solution is for CACG to create a limited edition of shorter boxes containing 15 to 18 coins so they can fit in 10x10 safe deposit boxes sideways..
I bought them back in 2022. I'm sure they're still out there somewhere but I don't see them listed anywhere at the moment.

A guy that is on the forums and IG sells them. He has them on eBay too:

Thanks!
..
I have bought 6 of them (20 slab capy) off eBay (2 - 3 box deals). Slabs from all 5 TPG accepted by the Bay fit nicely in them. Plus 2 - 10 coin slab boxes.
