State Flag Labels question

Does anyone know if it is possible to do the following:

1) Specifically request the state flag inserts when sending in quarters for grading?

2) Specifically request the state flag inserts when re-holdering a previously graded state quarter?

  • Yes, its is but I am pretty sure it is at an additional cost of $5.00 per coin and they will only do it for bulk submissions. Wondercoin would be the member to ask he is all knowingimage

Tim: PCGS produces the flags in sheets of (100) at a time, which is why they require a submission minimum of (100) of any particular state to get a flag holder. Now, since I have never personally submitted a state quarter seeking a flag holder, I can not tell you what happens when only 98 coins of a state go in or anytihng like that. But, you get the idea of what PCGS is looking for in order to produce a special sheet of flags.

PCGS told me recently it is possible I could submit a customer's completed Registry set for flag holders, but they had not forumalated a price yet for that service. Again, every coin in the set would need to have a sheet of 100 flags run for each coin.

    Hope this helps. image Wondercoin

Bill: Thank you and it was even more difficult this year, as the clad DCAM's are very bad overall.

I can handpick a few more special "primo" deep cameo sets for forum members at $125/set delivered. PM me if you want one. Wondercoin.
