How Do You Find the Best Deals on Gold and Silver?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been investing in precious metals for a while and recently started trying to get the best deals. Comparing prices from different dealers can take a lot of time, especially for coins or bars.

How do you usually find the best prices on gold and silver? Do you stick with a few trusted dealers or compare prices across different sites?

I’ve started using websites that show prices from multiple dealers all in one place, and it’s been a big time-saver. If you have any tips or tools you use, I’d love to hear about them!

Looking forward to your ideas!

How do you define a deal? 10% under spot, 20%? A buck cheaper on an ASE?

Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.

Throw out a Craigslist ad! Back in the day, I had a buyer who would purchase any kind of silver at any quantity at spot. I fed him silverware, junk silver, and bullion rounds in bulk for the quick flips. I met him on Craigslist. There may be small time vest pocket dealers who want a silver guy and would sell to you personally for cheap. I kept a lot of junk silver that I paid 10x face for (3-5 years ago), found at garage sales and local online postings. It's worth the hustle if you have the extra time and want a little fun.
