Below article from 1857 provides an interesting survey of early American Numismatics. Some of these founding names appear to be forgotten. Others, like Mickley certainly live on.

    I do get like that when I become focused on something. I always thought it was a good thing though, as in instead of being a random accumulator of coins and related exonumia I like to get hyper focused in one area and turn hordes into highly organized sets.
