Every time I get a card for one of my sets I like to research the player’s career and life. There’s usually an interesting tidbit or two for even the most obscure players…

I love posts like this thank you for sharing.
So this guy had a lifetime 3.04 ERA yet barely could get any substantial time in the big leagues (considering his era) and didn’t even crack in until he was 27 years old.
Just goes to show you how hard it is to make it at that level and not only do you have to be so talented but you also have to have a little bit of luck and things need to break your way.
Awesome post. Way to go Tom H.

Good story. Nice card. I'm working on a raw NM-MT 74T set as well. Fun chasing some of the tougher singles.
Bundalay, sahvay.
I just finished my raw NMMT 74 set last year. Tough but what a beautiful set in that condition. Good luck.
