WARNING -- FUN Travel

It was brought to my attention that the airlines are enforcing strict carryon size (22"x14"x9") and weight (35 lbs) starting this week. That might be inconvenient, at best, for those flying with heavy, shiny metal things to the FUN show.

Typically, a double-row box (or gallon ziplock bag) of silver dollar slabs weighs about 8.5 lbs. So, four of them leaves a pound for the bag. Forget a 5th box. If you do cents, probably can squeeze 6 boxes in.

I know that I now have to scramble to buy a new bag. (Including wheels, my previously acceptable one is 24" high.) Thought I would pass it along to spare potential grief at the gate.

Leave the BU rolls and 90% at home. Bring small denominations and paper money.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.
