He got a SSP Kanji in there at least. This was a bad miss by Topps/Fanatics, IMO. Almost comical in how many boxes don't have the single promised insert plus other issues. I bought a couple of them and 1) had an insert at least, 2) came with only 8 packs vs. 10! Yeah, WTF? I called Topps and they're sending the missing ones but what the heck?!?! Not like this was a cheap product. /sigh
Ug, not a great sign for future offerings.

I generally buy these one off Topps offerings and just don't open them, but after hearing all the bad commentary on the set I decided not worth holding, so rip them and see. Should have just sold 'em! lol
So, I posted this on TCDB...
"Feel like this was the worst Topps offering I've ever experienced. Just wow...pure unadulteraded money grab I guess. I bought 2 boxes and single 10 packs.
Box1: No issues, got #/150
Box2: Only 8 packs in box! Missing 2 complete packs. WTH? Of the 8 packs, 2 were duplicates, as in both exact same base cards, one pack on top of another. Did get a #/99 insert.
Story of the 10 packs...
1 packs had a refractor.
4 packs had the top 2 cards (of 5) as base dupes so only 4 unique cards for $25. That's low and no QC/QA apparently.
5 packs of base cards.
All together, 66 dupes in that mix...
So, all in all, worst Topps offering I have purchased since I got back to collecting in 2021.
Would not buy again."
I'd stay away from any resellers.

Pasta, that really sucks. You mentioned you had called, is it worth your time to write a letter, you might get even more of a refund.
How much did these boxes go for? I got really lucky and pack pulled a nice Ohtani refractor his rookie season and haven't had to chase him anymore.
