Maybe less time having AI writing flowery descriptions and more time knowing what you have would be a good idea.

Yeah yeah good one, Jeremy
You should know the Maria is a restrike. I am done fixing shit and people like to gossip.
Why not point out some of the nice coins too? Or you just wish to defame me more.
Careful with your attacks, so far I haven't heard one positive thing and you are trying to associate my company with doing bad things, even though anyone with a brain knows $95 will be a restrike.

You flat-out say it was minted in the 18th century. If it’s a restrike, say that instead. What you wrote is false. I see you’ve edited the description, but now you say it’s a .999 fine restrike. I’m sure you can cite a source for that since the photos don’t show purity stamped and the restrikes should be .833 fine.
The California fractionals are plated tokens at best and you call them 24k and price them at astronomical prices (look at the California Gold Token Guide link here: http://www.calgoldcoin.com/). What is this other than fishing for a sucker who may believe the false claims in your descriptions? Defamation is predicated on words being false. What have I said that is not true?
If you want to describe coins honestly and then charge more than I think is fair, go for it; I didn’t mention any of the many generic bullion items you have listed at multiples what others are asking. But if you’re going to have dishonest descriptions, I do not think that is at all acceptable. I’ve met plenty of people who bought coins that were overhyped at best, and when they find that out the result is they look negatively upon dealers or the hobby as a whole. That hurts everyone here.
If you want me to say something positive, give me the link to the three best coins you have listed. I’ll give you my honest opinion.
I purchased them in a .999 fine 1 oz silver bin so you know. I mean, just find something with your eye that you like and mention them. I am sure there are plenty of good listings that are well written and described properly.

Herein lies the problem. I shouldn't have to wade through dozens of pages to find good listings. If there are good listings--ones that are "well written and described properly"--those are what you should focus on. Everything else taints the entire website. One problem item? Maybe you made a mistake. Tons of them? My trust is gone.
But since you asked...
https://jayscoins.com/products/1941-s-mercury-dime-ngc-ms64-gorgeous-monster-rainbow-toning-coin/
This is a pretty coin. You need another photo with a light around 5:00 on the obverse to illuminate the toning by LIB so we can see that it's a continuation of the other colors and not super dark. I think the price is high--my experience is that until a merc is a 66 or higher and has exceptional toning, it's hard to get a significant premium for color given untoned examples are so inexpensive--but at least it has unique enough toning that it can be priced somewhat individually.
https://jayscoins.com/products/1862-gold-princess-ngc-ms62-looks-63-or-64-perfect-luster-perfect/
This coin looks to have nice color, but the light is soft enough that I can't tell how clean the surfaces actually are. Again, you can ask what you want, but the last two 64+ coins (a PCGS and an NGC/CAC) sold for $1082.40 each at Heritage in the last month, and you're asking more for a 62. Even if you're right that it's a 64, you're asking a significant premium. There are a few dealers with such a good reputation that they may be able to ask something like that (although they'd likely regrade it or get it stickered), but however nice the coin is, the price doesn't look serious.
https://jayscoins.com/products/1938-d-buffalo-nickel-ngc-ms66-custom-holder-bright-colorful-toning/
38-D buffalo nickels come nice, and this looks like a pretty one. You'll have a better presentation if you wipe the slabs before taking a photo.
There are other pieces I could comment on, but it's impossible to separate the coin from its price when it's for sale. If you want to say a coin is high-end for the grade and add a premium, you wouldn't be the only one. But I'm looking at coins priced multiple grades higher than they are (and multiple times what their grade has recently sold for). Even if those coins are really nice for what they are, when you attach a price, the holistic view becomes how nice is the coin for its price. But to find even these, one has to go through page after page of ridiculous listings.
https://jayscoins.com/products/1880-nice-toned-great-british-copper-coin/
This coin is priced between 63 and 64 money in NGC's price guide. Their guide says an XF is less than 10% of your price. The coin has verdigris, it has rim damage, and to my eye I'm inclined to say it's been cleaned. Your description say it's a "wise investment." Many more listings look like this than have a nice coin with a decent description where, at worst, the only issue is price.
So here's my advice: start over. Take a step back, look at what you have, and understand what you have. Drop the AI descriptions. Start with the certified coins you have, write a short and sweet description, and look at plenty of comps so you can justify your prices. Take your bullion and price it in line with everyone else or don't list it. You're trying to build a reputation, and it's not going to go well if someone who finds your site can choose between you--who they don't know--and one of the major bullion players who is selling the same thing for a fraction of the cost. For everything else, be realistic about the condition and honest in descriptions. Price accordingly. Decide if you're better off focusing on a certain area and quality of coin, or if you really want to have an inventory that covers everything.
You have coins that can be the start of a good inventory, but they need to be listed realistically. And however well they're listed, they can't be but a few pieces completely surrounded by problematic listings. Everything here can be addressed, but you need to consider the big picture and your whole site to understand how everything can affect everything else.
Start over? You mean rip the whole thing down because you say so?
edit: oh you mean relist everything again. I don't understand, I have over 10,000 items, i haven't even cracked the safe.
This is what I want to sell, and I have no time to do it one by one. Starting over will never be the answer.
the slight public shaming should stop, if you have an opinion PM me and not blast me especially when this is person to person criticism. If you have an issue, I will address
K, started over. For you.
I would encourage an offer to be made by you, since you seem to really be invested here, which is great. An offer won't hurt anyone.

Really?
Why if I select PCGS Certified dollars:
Are these the results I get?
Same deal if I select Gold, Foreign, etc etc. @airplanenut has it right. I don't know what is involved with web programming but the entire thing needs to come down and be fixed for MANY reasons.
How many sales have you made via the website YTD?
@lermish I'm experiencing the same as you and @airplanenut . It is a site made with Wordpress which, for the OP, means there isn't really a whole lot of code to work with. The matter should be resolved with a simple redirection of the links. On the other hand, if the links are pointing towards the same batch of inventory with an expected filter like how eBay does it, then the matter is a fault of how Wordpress operates.
I don't use Wordpress, Wix, or GoDaddy because of issues like these. The websites I've built were all coded from scratch, essentially using Microsoft Notepad. Granted, that process takes a lot longer, but I only have myself to blame if something on the site doesn't work. Additionally, I can build the features that I want included, like the custom album creator or (soon to come) tie-in barcodes for the coins I'll be selling.
@coinshop your site does need some work, but don't rush through it. Take your time to make sure everything works. Your layout is good and you have some great testimonials. Every so often as you update and upgrade this site, make sure you step back and view it from the perspective of a client or customer.

One of my pet peeves is feedback, especially when it appears fake. I did notice the "feedback" on your site—everyone is being factual and straight to the point. It’s not necessarily what you want to hear, but it’s not negative either. I would take critiques for what they are.

I normally don't make comments on posts like these, but here is my two cents for what it's worth.
When I look at coins on dealers websites, I look at the coin and the price and decide if Inthink it's a good price. I usually consult the price guide as well. I would never take the time to read a half page flowery description.
To me, when I see that kind of description it reminds me of the coin advertisements and that coin show (I don't remember the name) I see on TV occasionally.
They target people who have absolutely no idea what they're buying and are relying on the people selling to tell them it's a good investment. They think they're making a good investmemt when in reality they aren't because they don't know.
Just my opinion.
Dennis
Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.
I see, i appreciate that and can definitely work on that. I hate those type of infomercials and at the core, I am a collector so yeah, I'll definitely work on writing them a little more from personal experience.
