    @FrankH You can go to your profile and block a member if that is what you are asking.

    No interest in the category.
    I thought the follow was for the categoru

    I never realized it but you can follow a category. The button to control that is right under the category name when you are in it.

    You can also follow a thread (or unfollow it) with the little star to tje right of the name when you're in the thread.

    I wonder if your larger issue is that you might have your profile set up to send an email notification every time a post is made to something you follow?
