1882 Cupid Gold Token Octagonal NGC AU 58 - Any Information?

Just got this graded at NGC. Does anyone have any information on it? I would assume it is fairly rare as I cannot find anything about it. Any idea on value?

    I don't remember seeing another example either.

    There are a bunch of uncommon designs in small gold tokens dated in the early 1880s. I assume this is part of that series. As far as I know there is no standard reference for them

    Based on the coloring it is likely made of solid 8K or 10K gold, with a high-karat gold plating.
    This was typical for gold charms of this era (about 1880-1903).
