A Gold Foreign Coin?

Sorry for the vague title. I was at a local casino recently and a guy standing behind me was wearing this. Of course being a coin collector, this thing jump right out at me. I know nothing about foreign coins so I didn't even bother asking him what is was. I just asked if it was real....he said; yes.

I asked him if I could take a picture of it; he said sure. Here it is............ What is it??

As @WillieBoyd2 has mentioned, these are commonly found as restrikes and are surprisingly thin and lightweight. They're still a decent chunk of gold, but most that you see are not from the date on them.

I wouldn't wear that "lure" outside my sweater but it is nice.
