Sorry for a dumb question...On one forum I joined I can follow a member. I cannot find that function here. And how do I post that it is answered? Thanks.

Don’t mind the boomers, they’re not as immersed in all this social media 😅.
There isn’t a follow feature here, this forum is pretty low tech. A lot of use are on instagram where you follow and pick up followers. You can “follow” a thread if you want notifications when someone comments, for that you use the star at the top right to set it as a favorite. You can also message members using the pm function on their profile page:
You also don’t need to post when a question is answered, members here will comment as long as their hearts are content, long after the threads utility has expired. Once you get the answer you were looking for, feel free to bail if (and when) it goes off track. Often times the most meaningless threads pick up the most traction, and a significant numismatic discovery gets 2 comments before it falls off the first page into the abyss.
It’s a special place here, welcome to the circus 🤡

He’s absolutely correct. I’m a boomer, and to prove his point, here’s my situation:

Actually, it would help separate the true "gems" that post here from the "glass" such as me.
