Aaron Rodgers Netflix Doc

Anyone watching? I knew he was a weird dude, but man he sure is cocky as well. I realize that Pro athletes have to be confident, but I think most hide it a bit better than A-Rod.

I am about half way through, and I will push through till the end. He seems like a teenager who has absolutely no idea who he is identity wise. He is lost and floating, trying to glomb on to anything in an attempt to feel acceptance.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I watched the first 2 episodes. Not planning to watch more. The show focuses WAY to much on his "spiritual" adventures for me.

He's definitely a different kind of person. I do think there's been some pretty unfair reporting making him look worse than he is.

@JoeBanzai Yeah, the first episode was halfway decent as it chronicled his way from high school to college to pros.

I am 20 minutes into the second episode and it is starting to show his ayawaska (sp) "journey" weird for sure

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I won't watch that, my opinion of Rodgers is pretty simple

He is a HOF'er but obviously the guy thinks he is better than everyone and blames everyone else but himself for his teams failures.

I always thought he was worried more about his stats than actually winning, he always locks on to his favorite receiver and tries to force the ball to his guy rather than other players who are more open.

As far as his spiritual or holistic weirdness that stuff is irrelevant except when he feels that is more important than training camp stuff

I am not a big fan of Rogers, but one of the things revealed was the media showed him walking past a fan, apparently ignoring her, she was blubbering and crying. Looked like Aaron was a complete dick. Turns out he had signed a bunch of stuff for her the week before, and he was somewhat in a hurry the time he didn't.
The media REALLY made him out to be an a$$, when the opposite was actually true. The Netflix show interviewed her later, she had nothing but good things to say about Rogers.
I do think he's a STRANGE DUDE, but not necessarily a bad guy. He's actually pretty good at math too ;-)

I never saw that media clip of him ignoring a fan, glad the girl had a positive report about him in that regard.

I don't know any of these guys personally so I take what the media says with a grain of salt and don't really form a concrete opinion because we don't really know how accurate it is

Like I said I try to keep my opinions based on what I see of them in uniform, obviously it's easy to say a guy like Aaron Hernandez was a thug scumbag but outside of criminal behavior and visual interactions of real time behavior with people it's hard to know the whole story.

I think what my previous post described is fairly accurate from what I've seen of the guy but I'm not going to call him a scumbag or anything.

First day at his first training camp, he introduced himself to Brett Favre by saying, "What's up, grandpa?" He's a first class tool.

Solid documentary. Great to see Aaron's journey and how he figured out there is much more to life than the game of football. I always respected him as a player and now that I know more about him as a person I respect his outlook on life and how he chooses to live his life.
