PSA - Return Shipping is $74.99 for 6 Cards

Whats up with that - I get an email from PSA this am with a code for a discount rate on grading 6 cards.

Fine - So I grab 6 cards (Bill Ripken FF Errors with a declared value of $10 each)

Enter em into the system and the system automatically generates a return shipping cost of $74.99

Seriously - WTF???????????????????

Is this where we are at now with 3 rd Party Grading?

I think what is happening is (and I could be wrong).....
since PSA changed the submission process by removing declared value and instead use the maximum insurance value based on the service level, shipping increased for insurance purposes.

If you have 6 cards with a max insurance value of $500 using Value Plus service, for example, instead of using the old declared value of $10 each, the shipping is now based on a $3000 insurance valuation which would certainly increase the shipping cost compared to $60 valuation.
