LeeroybrownLeeroybrown Posts: 462 ✭✭✭✭✭

Well, with the recent successful grading of my 1885, I am now 1 away from completing this low grade sub-set. …and I will tell you all, this was no small feat in getting even this far!!

…now, I will hold my breath until I can find an 1890 in low grade : )

Let me know thoughts on the set below:

A very nice group of original seated halves! Tough to find in that grade range.

I think your group of coins are extremely cool! A great series to collect and your subset is tough to find in lower grades since many were saved in higher condition despite the tiny mintages. Big congrats!

    Yes, congratulations!

What a great challenge it must have been, to find circ examples of those low-mintage dates!

Also the thread title only goes to 1890.

I dont normally include the 1891 in the subset since the mintage and rarity does not compare to the other dates.

I used to collect Seated halves and to find those dates in problem-free condition was tough! That's a great accomplishment and I wish you luck on finding the remaining piece.
