TWO fun NEWPS from this past week!

These both came out of a collection that was sold to the shop… Both were very satisfying in their own ways…

I love this gold piece, even though I’m replacing one that’s slightly higher in grade. I like the look of this one a lot better… This will be my official five dollar gold piece in my 12 piece set now…

And what’s cool is that it’s the year both of my grandparents on my dad’s side of the family were born.

And originally, I was not going to do the whole set for 2023, initially I only wanted the Peace dollars, however, after getting the reverse proof set, having the Morgan, I decided to go after the proof and regular Morgans after all.

I got the regular Morgan last summer. I was just now holding out to find that proof…

And, lo and behold, here comes the proof in a brand spanking new holder!

It looks just absolutely exquisite! I underestimated how pretty the proof Morgan was!

The labels don’t match perfectly for the Morgan dollars, but I don’t really care, they still look cool side-by-side…
