Do all peace dollars carry the same reed counts along the edge? Any help appreciated.

Anyone?

I have counted a few and the result was 189 on all of them.
But it was a very small sample from a limited span of mintage years (1922-1925, as I remember). Most or all were probably from Philadelphia.
So all I can say is that I have not noticed any variation from 189 on Peace Dollars.
Some 1921 Morgan Dollars are known with "coarse reeding" (also known as "infrequent reeding"). Those have 157 reeds.
This web page has good information about them: https://ssdcvams.com/1921widereeds-final.pdf
I used to joke about this. I used to tell people it's missing one so they'd count them all. Really, I'd imagine it varies from year-to-year along the series, I'd imagine every one isn't exactly the same. Just of course a guess.
Thank you for your responses. What I’m most interested in knowing is if there’s a difference between mints. I’m sure they’re probably all the same, but I feel like it’s worth knowing for sure.

The edge reeding was standardized for all Peace dollar issues at 189.
Thank you, that was my original assumption, thanks for the confirmation.
