Yesterday, Larry Fitzgerald apparently outed Moss on social media. has anyone heard if it is true?

I don't believe Moss has said what is wrong, just that he has a medical condition.
You are right that Moss himself hasn't said anything public. Yesterday, Larry Fitzgerald apparently said it on X. Then, Randys son responded that Fitz had no right to make private matters public.
it sounds like Fitzgerald showed his rear end and leaked the info before Randy was ready? If that is what happened, what a terrible thing to do to someone.
I sure hope it isn't liver cancer.

I didn't think that highly of Randy Moss personally, until I saw him on the Tom Brady roast. He actually seems like a pretty good guy, at least now anyway.
Sorry to hear about, if it is liver cancer.
I hope that whatever medical issue Moss has is treatable.
That being said, why bring it up and then not talk about it?
I also don’t think anyone should divulge someone else's personal or medical information.
Randy just released that he has cancer of the bowel duct that is between the liver and the pancreas. he had surgery 6 days ago to remove the mass and will need to have chemo and radiation.
I sure hope he beats this. 47 seems pretty young. I guess cancer does not care about age.

Pasted:
Bile duct cancer, also known as cholangiocarcinoma, is a rare and aggressive cancer that forms in the bile ducts:
What it is
Bile duct cancer occurs when malignant cells grow in the bile ducts, which are small tubes that connect the liver and gallbladder to the small intestine.
That's what Walter Payton died from.
oh crap... I did not realize that

I didn't know that. Fortunately cancer treatment has evolved very nicely since that time. Hopefully Moss is wise enough to find an oncologist who practices up to date treatment therapies, and not some old school doctor who hasn't changed his treatment beliefs since med school.
That's a rough area in the body for cancer as we all may know. Fortunately, cancer in that area isn't the almost automatic death sentence that it used to be. The key is to do your due diligence once diagnosed with any type of cancer. Lots of new therapies now out there which show tremendous promise.
I always remember that about Walter because that was the first time I ever heard of that cancer. No matter what, it sucks whatever cancer it is, I lost both of my parents to it. Prayers for a full recovery to Randy.
Sorry to hear that about your parents.
I feel pretty good about some new ideas on health, getting ready to take place early next year. These ideas without a doubt will not only enable cancers to be more curable, but also more preventable. As well as other maladies and diseases.
Thanks Steve, hopefully research eradicates this terrible disease for good one day.
I've done a lot of research on cancer for various reasons. What you just mentioned is a possibility.
What actually happened was Larry's dad outed the cancer diagnosis and Larry called him out for it. Larry was the good guy here.
I hope Moss recovers.
Larry Fitzgerald Jr. (the HOF WR) was a ball boy for the Vikings when Moss & Carter were at their peak.
Larry's father is a reporter - for who - no idea - but he's been doing it for a very long time.
When I saw his post on X about his breaking news, my first reaction was of surprise. Unless he was given that info from Moss himself to break it, he should have kept it to himself.
Then for him to be wrong (turns out it was bile duct cancer per Moss) and get called out by Moss' son is next-level terrible.

If there's no consequences for revealing medical information of another person without their expressed permission, there sure should be.
