All these different "slabs" could get confusing for kids and grown ups... It may cause a demand for the older holder PCGS, NGC, PCI, ANA and anacs coins in the future...

"Gaudy gimmicky slabs just cheapen the brand. :#"

Perfect slab for the rainbow colored AT Silver Eagles PCGS slabbed back in the day! IF that didn't "cheapen the brand", I doubt colored holders will do it....

Bjorn and his wife used to set up at the Omaha show, where I always had enjoyable interactions with them. They were a couple of the most personable people at the show and their table was always a popular spot. I think they did a bustling business. Time flies so I'm pretty sure this was over ten years ago.

Personally, I wish all slabs from all companies were the same. Collections just look better to me that way. I mean, I don’t even like mixing new slabs and rattlers. But I’m not the only buyer out there, and these offbeat slab variants are obviously appealing to some people or they wouldn’t keep making them.

As early plastic values continue to increase, plastic collectors will force an active marketplace, and there will be winners and losers.
