Red Sox bragging how they are going after players this off season but continue to make bad decisions

The only one they have signed is relief pitcher Chapman for next to nothing.
The ownership that owns them just has to many irons in the fire to pay good baseball players.
They faked the bidding on Soto to make it look like they tried and now are not even trying on any other guys!
Bergman could be had to replace Devers who is worthless at 3rd but no action is forthcoming.
They need 2 starting pitchers but only put in weak bids on the ones that are available.
The Red Sox management is fighting among themselves and continues to make no decisions or bad ones!
No MLB package for me this year if they dont improve the team and fans should boycott Fenway!

Two things you can bet on here...
1 - You will renew the MLB package.
2 - There will never be a boycott of Fenway.
To get frustrated over what the Red Sox do or don't do, is just a journey into continuous frustration. It's only baseball and no matter what you think or how you feel, will mean absolutely nada on decisions made on Yawkey Way.
Maybe reading a bunch of Louis L'Amour will focus your enjoyment. Try Last of the Breed...it'll keep you busy for a few days, a great read, as are all his writings.
This is the first I’ve heard that Boston faked the bidding on Soto. 😂
Kinda thought that too. So, if Soto had taken the offer, would they then had said...oh, we were just joking?
I've read all his books twice already and there will not be a boycott of Fenway as they will win games along the way. There is desire by the young guys on the team to win . I love baseball and WILL probably get the MLB package, as you say, but the remote changes channels very quickly even more so than last year .
If the Red Sox don't make a major effort to put a top quality team together I put no effort to watch them. I will follow them on here and I get a email from MLB that I did not ask for that gives little news and updates.
I am so sick and tired of the greed from pro sports that I just don't really care very much any more.
The GREED and WOKE is killing sports. It's just not fun like it used to be years ago.
They did trade for Crochet and could potentially trade for Arenado with the Cardinals looking to dump salary and start tanking.
Not getting Soto is a blessing
Cora could help with Bregman but he would prefer to stay Houston and the south. If he does go somewhere else it was never going to be a quick contract to leave.
Burnes is still out there, but his leverage is growing as more and more pitchers are signing and coming off the market

MLB network is saying Boston is trying to get one of the mariners starting pitchers in addition to Crochet.
The Royals could sure use Arenado. They need a power bat at third or any outfield spot.
Desperately need a power bat! 😫
They are moving bodies so I wont have to dig out my Louis L"Amore books this year and I definitely will get the MLB package. Now they could make me estatic if they signed Bregman next as I can't stand Devers on 3rd base.! The greed is killing everything my friend!
I wouldn’t be sad if I never saw or heard the word ‘woke’ used as slang for some form of political or social viewpoint ever again. Pass it along.
I’ve been trying to pass it along. 🥳
The Red Sox gave up a good amount for Crochet. Will be interesting to see if this Sox-Sox trade for a power lefty turns out better for the White Sox this time around than the last one for Sale.
They gave up their last two number one picks and a versatile infielder with crazy on base skills.
Braden Montgomery OF could be the prize. He was their number one pick last year(12th overall), that most likely would have been a top ten pick if not for an injured ankle. Big kid with big power. Was a two way player too as he threw 97.
The catcher Teel is rated higher and is a good one too, but Montgomery is the one to watch IMO.
This might be a turning point for the White Sox. If not, then in six years when their next big guy Noah Schultz comes up before free agency, they get to trade another big power lefty. Six foot 9 power lefty. 20 years old and has 153 K to 30 BB in 115 Minor league innings.
I like Montgomery. That wasnt fun seeing his season end in the super regionals but you knew it would on the play. A&M had a real chance to win it in Omaha and losing him hurt a lot. I'm not sure I would really call him a two way player though. Stanford kind of used him that way and A&M stopped that when he transferred.
Im not quite as high on Teel as some others are and do agree Montgomery is the prize of the group in that trade. Both of them would definitely improve that White Sox roster right away. Maybe a little bit of an overpay but the trade seemed to be beneficial for both.
I just really dont have any faith in the White Sox with their current owner though.

Buehler signed a 1 year deal with the Red Sox. Not a bad gamble on a former ace but with two TJ surgeries hes been looking like more of a middle of the rotation guy at best. Even as a 3 or 4 he will be an upgrade though

The Red Sox still need to replace Devers at 3rd as he will never get any better there. DH is the position for him but they already have a highly overpaid player there.Henry doesn't like to just give money away and other owners dont want to pay for his past mistakes. Bregman is the answer but Henry doesn't want to go 8 years on a player and no owner is ever going to pay the salary Henry agreed to for Moussaka .
