EVERY coin is minted "upside down"

I take it you are not from the USA. All US coins are minted in what is known as coinage axis where one side is upside down.
Some countries mint in medal axis where both sides face the same way.

  • Lol my mistake I misunderstood him. The head of cent is upside down in the horse shoe so luck don't rum out.....I never heard of that

Nor I. I just know the orientation of the shoe when one hangs it for good luck. There are two dozen on eBay now. The one in your photo is upside down relative to them—found one that has a diagonal orientation. they run three to ten dollars.

If you changed the orientation of Lincoln, then 'GOOD LUCK' would be upside down

One I recently purchased also has the same orientation. Maybe the 4 leaf clover and the Cent inside the horseshoe prevents the good luck from falling out of the upside down horseshoe, so you can remain lucky unless the Cent falls out 🙃
