Parker had some great cards from his Pirates years, I think 1980 is my favorite. Here's one from my Gary Carter collection.
And it's about time for Dick Allen, just sad that they once again waited until the player had passed away.
Just got an SGC 8 Parker rookie, but I haven't got the cards back yet. Got an SGC 8.5 1975 Topps card -- looks awesome, centered.
Topps 1964 Rookie Banquet Program
Hostess and Kellogg's favorites.

Nothing Allen related. Oversight. Should have gotten a RC a decade ago. Always liked Parker. He's not in the best health so I'm glad they got him in.
i need to get a dave parker desert shield now. i have all of the hall of fame players for the desert shield set now i need parker.
I've been meaning to get a 9 of Cobra's rookie for years and just never got around to it. I have 4 of them as 8s, but just forgot! I love the one below because it has 2 of my all-time favorites (2 for 1!).
I have one of Allen's rookies at PSA right now.
Like ‘64 Allen RC…pulled one back in the day.

This was a $4 purchase I made as kid in 1990. It was the first card i ever had with any of the 3 pictured players on it.
I do agree with the 8 although IMHO an 8.5 woudl have been fair given how it presents above grade.
Love the look of the SGC slabs!
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Man, love the auto.
In the group I recently sent in for verification I had a couple DP's but they wouldn't pass their approval. Mail autos from the 80s were always a bit sketchy, but that was a big bummer for me.
Seeing the bump up of 1974 Topps Parker rookies in PSA 8 hitting $350+ in the days post HOF election, what do you guys think a high grade OPC Parker rookie in an 8 would fetch knowing it’s a very low pop of 4 with only 1 higher? Nice to see the Allen rookies bump as I used to own an 8 and purchased in case of a HOF induction but foolishly sold and regret it very much!
IMHO time to buy was earlier this year. Wait for a dip or valley months after induction day then prepare for a long time of stagnation. At least that's the general pattern for minor HOFs elected many decades after initial eligibility.
Re your OPC question I think all depends on when auctioned.
