A couple old Spanish Gold coins.

These were bought by a friend many years ago and had a large premium at that time.

Charles III 1789 1 Escudo optimistically grade XF and priced a $550. The reverse is solid XF but the obverse is VF+ with light scratches.

The other is a 1/2 E 1788. This one is a nice low end VF.

Will these bring a premium in a coin shop?

Tempus fugit.

I’m not the most knowledgeable in this arena, but wouldn’t think a huge premium would be attached to those.
