Questionable Color??

Recently got this submission back from PCGS and being a somewhat novice I really thought the color progression looked okay on this. Do you guys agree with the QC grade?
Should this be cracked and resubmitted?
Should I dip it?
Or is this just one of those, I was wrong, learn from the mistake and move on type scenarios?
Any help or insight is very appreciated

I personally don’t like the neon blue / ice blue color on coins, and will stay clear from that toning due to shenanigans. But pcgs has given some of these toners a pass, so if this coin really means something to you, you’ll probably want to resubmit.
There is a fairly heavy scrape on the lower jaw. I have had quarters with similar get details - machine damage. The rest of the dollar looks very nice. I would consider an obverse dip and resubmission, unless you are in love with obverse color. For me that color is neutral or negative for grade.
Is the True View overexposed or not color balanced correctly? I ask because the image itself looks off. As for the color, I am not a fan.

Gorgeous coin. No I would not dip

They seem to let that kind of toning slide on moderns, but not so much on 19th century coins. I don't know what that coin looks like in hand, as sometimes the trueviews bring out colors in a way that aren't very visible in reality, but if that image is anywhere close to accurate its...suspicious. I'd bet it gets QC again on a resubmit if its not dipped.
Great question Tom, I’m not sure how they take true view images, I took this with my phone, does it help? And I pre apologize as I’m not a photographer
@davewesen thanks Dave, I’m not necessarily attached to the color either, really I just thought it would be nice if the color and the coin were in a straight holder. So you think it’d maybe be a 50/50 shot to lightly dip the obv to get it into a straight holder?
Ok, that doesn't look nearly as artificial in your picture. I don't know if its worth resubmitting given the value of an 1881-O, but maybe it has a chance?
@1madman nonreal sentimental value there, and I agree, I’ve seen some at shows that have passed with that “type” of toning which is why I thought it may have a shot at a 61/62 straight
I am guessing that the TV is as has been the norm for a while now way off on the color balance and the coin is not so yellow as the TV suggests. Your quick in hand cell photo seems to show a more natural looking color, personally I wouldn't spend any more on the coin, but that is a choice for you to make.

@coinbuf i appreciate that line of thinking. I’ll chalk it up as a lesson learned and stray away from send coins like that off
More than one grader looks at the coins being submitted, so something must be there for more than one grader to question the coloring.

I think the same thing-the TrueView does not really show what it looks like and the coin might even pass but it’s not worth the additional costs to submit again.
I would like to hear from others who submit toned coins of late if they are getting the same results compared to say year ago, or more Questionable Color designations than years past. Personally I think PCGS has tightened up on cent toners.

I like the color and I think it's natural. Maybe it was labeled questionable because the graders couldn't reach a consensus amongst themselves on the matter. I wouldn't dip it.
