    3 months ago, I agreed to a trade with Heavyd5424. 2 Manning cards (high BV140) for 3 Terrell/Thomas cards (BV 135). This was just a couple weeks after brees9 had stolen a nice Montana card from me (utter stupidity on my part). But I learned my lesson.

    When I searched for info on Heavyd, I saw that he was offering the exact same Montana card up for trade. Since both users are from Whitman, MA & brees9 had disappeared right when Heavyd joined the board, all of these coincidences made me suspicious. Heavyd assured me that he was not brees9 so I agreed to do the trade if he sent first. We both agreed that he would send one card, then I would send one card, then he would send the other 2 cards, & then I would send the last card.

    Heavyd sent me a Terrell auto (BV10/25) to start the trade. I received the card & was about to send him a Manning game used (BV15/40) when he PM'd me & said he had lost the $60 A-Train card that made this trade work. After we failed to figure out an even trade without that card, he told me to keep the Terrell card & call it a day. I thanked him for the card but still felt uneasy about posting something positive about him (which he did ask me to do) since our trade did not work out as arranged. So I posted nothing at the time & (until yesterday) I have said nothing good or bad about Heavyd on the board for 3 months.

    When I noticed yesterday that several members (Remster, Skivermont3, Kbryant1, Ahendi, Belfan, KLS23, others?) were complaining about not receiving cards as promised from Heavyd, trading the same card to several members, & backing out of trades, I decided to speak up. Now I can't prove that Heavyd is brees9 & I sure hope that he is not. If he is not, then I apologize for the accusation but too much evidence pointed that way.

    Still, all of those guys listed above would not call Heavyd a good trader no matter what, would they? I sure hope they all get their cards as he has promised.

    HE OFFERED TO PUT UP A MONTANA AUTO AGAINST ME IN POOL. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THAT WAS THE EXACT SAME CARD?? IF SO I THINK WE HAVE ENOUGH TO PROVE HE IS BREES9.

    p.s.- i did win the montana form him in pool , but he never sent it. instead, he sent a lower valued auto card.

    slice60:when did you sell/trade that montana auto?

    this may be of interest to all...back a few months ago heavyd posted he had a montana auto to sell..i was interested..heavyd told me he just got it that morning from a card shop for 35 bucks...I bought it and it is now posted on my site....slice60 take a look at my site and see if that is the card you are talking about.

    Yes, that is the Montana card. However, those are not numbered so I can't say the card you have is the exact card that I used to have.

    Interesting that Heavyd STILL HAS NOT made good on his promise to Remster.

    I know the card is not numbered so that would be hard to say "yes" that was my card..too many things just seem to fit into place..I just checked my history and it was on april 2nd that i spoke to him about the card and we started working on a deal..

    I did a second deal with heavyd..a few months had passed and i forgot i even traded with him, i had 20-30 deals going so no wonder one slipped my mind. I happen to be going through history and i noticed that i never received from him so i sent him a PM. well the cards i was gonna get from him he told me he didn't have but would send replacements and that it would be sent insured..a few weeks later the cards finally came. BUT no postage on package. since april this is about the 3rd post i have read that mentions the montana auto. I know of at least 2 other people who have been waiting to get the montana and never did get it..wonder why? its already been traded????

    Not that I know him or anything, but has any of these issues been resolved? I see he's on the board tonight and just thought if people need to be leary of him, they know why. If all has been resolved, sorry for bringin'
    it back up but was just worried about other traders...

    nothing has been resolved with my trade...I don't think Ski or Belfan have had any luck either and there are serious doubts about his dealings with the whole Montana auto card.I've traded with samsgirl and know she can be trusted
    I've got him posted as a bad trader and have the PM's to prove it

    I would say be very wary about trading with heavyd

    I just think this should be near the top for a while just to let some of the new traders know what they may need to watch out for... Unless
    he can clear up everything with everyone. If he is also brees9, I got some problems with him as well.

    Remster, im sorry i never recieved your email but thanks for the concern and letting me know as i do appreciate it. HeavyD was never allowed to reapply for the new TR site because of his past problems. In fact i believe he was on the bubble on the old site to be booted out.     Then how about responding to me???? You were supposed to mail my Tomlinson/Vick 2002 Donruss Elite FACE2FACE GU Mask card back to me on July 9th and I still haven't received it. I mailed your Favre and Brees SPX Winning Materials cards back to you on july 9 and I even spent $3 on thick card screw downs for them so that they would be better protected then they were when you mailed them to me.

    I would like a scan and I think you should post it on the board for all to see.I'm sure Belfan would like to see it as well

    I'll be warning board members to use extreme caution in trading with you heavyd and would recommend you send first until you show that you can be trusted

    I sincerely hope you do send the cards to me and to any others you owe cards to and maybe one day I can remove the bad trader reference about you in my sig line.

    BTW: would you remove your reference to being a member of Traders Retreat.You are no longer a member there and that note in your sig line is misleading.
