It has some similarities to the NORFED rounds. So I would assume that they were made by same.
I have have not seen that one before, however.
As Dan has said, the triangle with the B in a circle it is typical for Bernard von NotHaus hallmark, ie., Norfed, Liberty dollar medals. I don't have this one, but did see one sold in worthpoint.
I just sent Bernard an email to see if this was his product. I have almost everything they ever minted, and they are preparing a 50th anniversary of the Royal Hawaiian Mint book and a few medal issues in just a few months, so I am looking forward to that.

Thank you for all the info. I appreciate it. I just looked the one up on worthpoint that you were talking about. Thanks for pointing that out. Glad you found another one!
I just received an email from Bernard. He confirms he did mint this silver medal as part of a time when Liberty Dollar was in-between times after the Norfed and government issues the prior year.
He said did not recall it was stated $50 msrp, but he is busy on his 50th Anniversary RHM book, and I was lucky he still remembered me and did not have all his email blocked.
If yours was in perfect shape, I would be a buyer. They are fairly scarce.

This medal was struck in 2009, which was also the same time around 2008 -2010 when Dan and Bernard both designed and struck Ron Paul medals. I believe Dan struck several Ron Paul portraits, Restore the Republic and Jekyll Island medals including some very rare 50-gram gold ones and a lot of silvers for the Freedom Mint and their end the Fed series, and Bernard did his 2008 Ron Paul series including gold, silver, copper, and platinum.
