The 2025 U.S. Mint products list has been released. So which coin/medal you think is hot for 2025?

I'm thinking "maybe" the following (we do not have photos yet!):
- USMC - 250th Anniversary Commemorative 2025 Silver Proof Coin.
- USMC - 250th Anniversary Commemorative 2025 Gold Proof Coin.

Hot? No. The regular commens are meant to raise money for a cause, and are made in mintages far beyond anything that can possibly be considered "hot," no matter how nice the designs or popular the subject.
The American Liberty High Relief gold can be hot, depending on the design. Anything they release next year similar to the FH gold and silver will almost certainly be hot. Maybe the DC items will be hot.
Those might be good choices. For me, the lack of a direct next in series type for the FH gold is a disappointment. Hopefully a 2026 release will be forthcoming. Or, some traditional types to commemorate the 2026 Semiquincentennial
Yeah I agree most of the coins/medals in 2026 will be hot because of the U.S. anniversary.
But 2025 has to come with really very good designs.
I am interested in the Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, USMC and the Navy coins.
Glad to see the Mint is offering something different in 2025.
I glanced quickly and I know some are only medals and others are coins. Gonna be fun to see who is interested in what products as we learn more about them and pics are released by the Mint!🥳🥳🥳
@WQuarterFreddie: As long the design is so beautiful AND the mintage is low, I think I will consider those DC Comics series.
Don't count on the mintage being low. They are doing it to make money and attract new blood to the hobby.
Not to create instant rarities. They are going to be priced to be as accessible as possible. That's going to require them to mint as many as the market will bear. Not so few that they sell out in a day.
I suggest you look at how many your Canadian Mint made when they did something similar, and multiply that by 10x, 20x or more to get to the US Mint's maximum mintages.
Proof silver eagle (W) is early......January 9th.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
For release at the FUN show.
What is so special about this coin?
Nothing. It's the 2024 edition of an annual proof ASE. What's special is that it is going to be released at the first, and likely largest, national coin show of the year. If you care about such things.
I think I would consider the 2025 Platinum Proof Coin - Right To Petition.
The design looks good to me.
I assume that tree has some history to it.
That design looks like a huge loser to me.
i imagine it's oak
Did they finalize the design choice for the high relief gold yet?
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
My bet is on this.
Not my first choice. But much better than the woke garbage or graffiti-like designs you might see on a passing rail car.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
I would consider this coin too if it's a High-Relief design.
As we are beekeepers and have sunflowers every year in our garden for them, that is a design I would buy for sure.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
Maybe the U.S. Mint should have put the "agreed-on" designs in the schedule instead of having the photos empty, at least it gives us an idea instead of having to guess!
You can certainly see what was recommended
