My entire PCGS MS Liberty "V" Nickel Registry set for sale ($14k here for the entire set)
For the past decade, I have meticulously assembled this set of PCGS MS64 Liberty V nickels. My primary concern was strike quality. Each coin had to have FULL stars, and complete, or nearly complete ears of corn on n the reverse left. Mint luster was my secondary consideration. Third was marks or lack of marks / eye appeal. With the exception of the 1883 "No CENTS" coin, which I am giving away with the "CENTS" coin as a bonus, each of the coins in this set is superior to 95% of all the other examples out there that are currently available for collectors. I can say that with some confidence because I have looked at probably thousands of coins in my quest to complete this set!
I have all but four coins - 1885, 1886, 1890, and 1898. For whatever reason, the 1890 and 1898 proved almost as elusive to find meeting my standards, as the 1885 and 1886!
This set does include EXCEPTIONAL examples of the 1912-D and 1912-S. Both are among the finest examples I have ever seen!
At any rate, I have decided to sell off this set, and take my collecting in a whole new direction! US Currency, Obsolete Currency and Colonial Currency!
I am still going to maintain and build on my US Type set including gold. I just decided that my overall numismatic interests have changed,

Thank you for looking!

If anyone wants to purchase the entire set before any coins are sold, $14,000 will get you the set in it's entirety (Valued at around $18,000). I am also open to partial trades for PCGS graded Saint Gaudens, or other PCGS gold coins that would help complete my US Type set.

Beautiful coins, exceptional quality. Someone should enjoy this set.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
Thank you very much! It took over ten years to assemble the set, and there is not a single weak star to be found in this entire set. My primary consideration was strike quality. I do hope someone, or multiple people will recognize the bar that was set to allow a coin into this registry set. I can say with confidence that every single coin in the set is superior to 95% of all other coins (Liberty V nickels) out there on the market today.
When someone references PCGS Price Guide when trying to negotiate a lower price, I have to insist that these coins, are exceptional, and many have True View images, and several already have CAC green beans.
I am not in a rush to sell, and Ebay is charging me around 13-14% in fees, and I also do not charge a dime for shipping. I absorb that as well, and each coin costs me anywhere from $9 to $20 depending on the insurance amount. All things considered, I feel that my asking prices are fair. I am always open to fair offers, and even trades for US gold coins as I stated above.
Thanks again for the complement. I appreciate it!
