I got sick of trying to figure out what pattern was what so I compiled a guide as best I could to list all the hologram and refractor variant card types.

Very well-organized list. But the absurd number of variations is why I don't collect modern cards.

Anything that doesn't have a source link is something I put together. But the aim is to have everything useful in one easy location

I collect baseball board games and there isn't a really good comprehensive book/price guide.

Thanks for the lightbulb moment. I need to add some info on board games in the games section!

I just hope more people will find the guide and use it to answer questions, especially for new hobbyists.

Interesting list, and I don't even collect modern but find this stuff mildly fascinating as a collector.

I didn't read through the whole list, but I did a ctrl + F search and I could not find lava lamp. Maybe it's listed as something different, but I've seen at least a few different lava lamp color variants.

Thats a great list as I have been reading about refractors and trying to figure out exactly what I have with my cards. Its helped alot. But I do
have a Juan Soto 2023 Topps #1 and far as I can tell its mini Diamonds? Thats my guess anyone have thoughts on it? Thank you

Cool site. Thanks for putting that stuff together. If you ever have the inclination I think that adding a page for error cards and variations in vintage, recognized and not, would be cool.
