A suggestion to Rick Montgomery to recognize your ambassadors ...

Mr. Montgomery:
In my seven weeks as a member of these boards, I never have failed to be impressed and delighted by the quick and accurate answers that Collectors Club and Registry members -- and members of neither -- provide to the questions of newbies and veterans, alike, many of which have to do with PCGS submission and grading policies and other matters that might otherwise fall upon your customer service staff by either e-mail or phone.
It would engender no small measure of good will -- and recognize those who assist your business and serve as pseudo representatives of PCGS -- if you and your firm would endeavor to recognize those who cheerfully and consistently answer questions and otherwise dispense valuable numismatic advice to those who frequent these forums and to those who provide giveaways to promote numismatic learning.
To that end, I respectfully suggest that it would take minimal monitoring of these boards to each month select a Poster of the Month and award them four free submissions of their choice as a token of appreciation. Perhaps a second-place winner could receive two submissions and a few others could receive one free submission when submitting other coins. This would be a welcome recognition of the fine work many of your board members perform on behalf of both PCGS and our hobby.
I thank you in advance for considering this suggestion.

I believe the good people of these Boards post threads for several reasons. Their love of coin collecting, their love of helping others, and to hear themselves talk highly of their own selves.
Give away free submissions and give away the Boards... PCGS should give away free submissions, simply because someone here posts good, sound advice and information? Should they charge others more because of their stupidity (not speaking of you)? I dont think PCGS could ever get past what they are in business for.. making money.
How would you choose "Poster of the Month"? The one who begs for it? Sorry, I just dont see free submissions as a gesture towards the "good" threaders. Besides, we can all argue we add value to these Boards!!
Like your try though.
Who gave you the bucket of cold water?

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
If you have an idea, give Rick a call. I called PCGS with a question this week and they sent me to Rick Ms voice mail by mistake. You know what, he returned my call. THE Rick M. call me. He also answered my questions, I was impressed. Give it a try...
