Mint Employee Benefits

Just wondering, do their employees get a perk like a guaranteed advance purchase option for the new products. Anyone here work for the mint or have friends or family that do. For most stuff does not matter but what have been nice for the FH metal & coin.

    I don't think mint can do that

    No. Oil pan being the classic. But it would have to be pretty spectacular to be worth risking your government job and pension.

    How many freshly minted minor coins can the press operator swallow before he gets a really bad stomach ache. What effect will his stomach acids have on the coins? I know kids swallow coins all the time. Anyone watching to make sure they aren't swallowing what they are making?

    Plus you would probably "jingle" as you tried to walk out. Probably why no one (that we know of) is doing it on a regular basis.

    Could never imagine jeopardizing your job or career at the mint for stealing!
