Just wondering, do their employees get a perk like a guaranteed advance purchase option for the new products. Anyone here work for the mint or have friends or family that do. For most stuff does not matter but what have been nice for the FH metal & coin.

How many freshly minted minor coins can the press operator swallow before he gets a really bad stomach ache. What effect will his stomach acids have on the coins? I know kids swallow coins all the time. Anyone watching to make sure they aren't swallowing what they are making?
I believe they have metal detectors

And I rather believe that Denver Mint employees are well aware of this tale even shared by our guide during our mint tour a couple of years ago:

Don't forget about all the [vault] employees of all the Federal Reserve Banks.
Could never imagine jeopardizing your job or career at the mint for stealing!
