Here are images of a Irish Pistole gold coin - reproduction but at least 22K if not pure gold. I know this is not the real deal but wondered if it has collector value or just gold content value???

I've never seen one in gold
I know nothing about the originals but if that's what they look like then I'd say it's a very high quality replica and might be worth a premium to someone.
These counterfeits, in gold, were mentioned in Virgil Hancock's "Featuring Fakes" column in the August, 1973 issue of "The Numismatist," and mentioned again briefly the following month. They were apparently made in California circa 1970.
