I'm enjoying gathering clips more than I ever expected to

Congrats! Clipped planchets are a great entry into error collecting.
I remember the first time I bought one and thinking it was the coolest coin ever!
30+ years coin shop experience (ret.) Coins, bullion, currency, scrap & interesting folks. Loved every minute!
Other than a couple blank planchets, the only significant error coin I ever discovered "in the wild" was when a friend of mine and I bought an unopened bag of 1960 nickels in 1973. While going through it, I found this double-clip "railroad rim" (partial collar). I still have it:
Slight clip above Jeff's head on both of posters coins as well? Or was this noted in description? Regardless, nice pickups.
@seanq would like this.

Just off topic of a second @Kurisu if you don't mind.
Although it's not significant, didn't you discover this one @dcarr?

Actually I think that's just my finger making it look like another clip
Nope, that wasn't me. I've got a nice handful Dan's pieces but not that one.

The 1968-s nickel does have a second smaller clip.
No @Kurisu, I was asking the question to Dan.

Agreed, I was talking about the obverse of the '69.

Nice clips, I like the double 1968-S quite a bit. They are like a gateway drug for error collecting, not too expensive but eye-catching and definitely addictive.

By "in the wild" I meant finding it in change, or at face value.
I paid a little over face value (4 cents) for the 1944 cent that was later over-struck as "1908-S VDB".
Thanks for that feedback Dan! 👍
