It is quite a tradition for those guys. hard to believe it has been 52 years. all those players would be in their 70s and 80s now.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Shouldnt this be over by now? With the season changing to 17 games no one can go 16-0 anymore and what happens if someone goes 16-0 and then finishes 16-1?

That Dolphins team should be cemented in history and a new line should be started with the new season length

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007

There was no salary cap back in 1972.

With the advent of the salary cap in 1994, and now with the regular season extended to 17 games, it's no stretch of the imagination to think that no NFL team will ever go undefeated again.

That 72 team barely won the Super Bowl.

But I like when they boast about it and want it to sting those who were on that 2007 Patriots team, I want them all to be ashamed of themselves still.

the 2007 Patriots finished the regular season at 16-0, then won the first 2 playoff games to reach 18-0 before losing the super bowl to finish at 18-1.

They definitely got close, but isnt the whole point of the Dolphins year that they won every game including the SB? It seems with the longer schedule now that the Dolphins should be enshrined for what they did since if someone does it they would have won an extra game in the regular season which is a new record much like the base stealing records in baseball should be considered different now with the shorter base paths

With everything different today. Salary cap, schedules that favor parity. First place teams playing a first place schedule. Players leaving in free agency for more money, 19-0 seems impossible but nothing is impossible in sports
