Silver Panda Variety Collectors… NGC Questions.

On the 1991 Silver 10Y, what is the determining factor to get a CC-297A or CC-297B attribution, at least on NGC?

NGC says that CC-297B is the small date variety and CC-297A is the large date variety.

One of my favorite panda varieties is the frosted and mirrored bamboo on the 2003 pandas.

These are my only Silver Panda’s. The 91’s are ANACS solo top pops.

My only gold panda. It’s also an ANACS top pop.

Notice how NGC lists both the Small/Large Dates, but also has Small/Large Date attributions with CC-279A & B attributions as well. I’m curious what the difference is between them since it doesn’t specify.
