Happy to add this one to my Guatemala 1754-1771 collection. The stops look like ''round blobs'' as Yonaka mentioned in his book for this date and a few others after this date. The 1765 is considered very to extremely rare per Yonaka (he does mention 2 die pairs known for this date).

Is my 1765 a new variety I do not see the dot after the D or the G before Hispan? The last jewel in the crown to the right does not fall between the A and N is HISPAN like Brad Yonaka's example.

I see Brad mentioned 2 die pairs known maybe this is the 2nd type not pictured in his book.

Brad got back to me (via e-mail) it is what I suspected. One of the 2 types he has seen of this date.

Picked this one up to replace this date variety that I already owned but has a hole:

A few more recent adds all 3 are dates I already own but they are all 3 varieties I did not own. I colelct Peru 1752-1772 by date and varieties. Two of these are unlisted (1st and 3rd coin...the 2nd is Rarity 2) in Brad Yonaka's book for now anyways I sent him the images for his 2nd edition:

I also just got a 1765. Mine is definitely a different obverse die but it does look to be the same reverse. However mine is a very rare "QUA" error! Just kidding it looks like whoever filled in the hole did a little bit of an oopsie on the last letter.
Pulled this from the bay recently, it's a tough JD/JM variety. While I don't really collect varieties, this one is pretty cool.
I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.
