Hypothetical - if I have a Rainbow Toned Morgan, and I'm looking to get as close as I can to a Rainbow Toned Morgan price for it - am I more likely to get near that target if the coin is raw or in a 4th tier slab (older PCI or ICG)? Assume for this instance that the toning, although "dazzling" would pass for "Natural" by most collectors with at least decent experience in determining such things.
Philately will get you nowhere....

For an ICG coin you're most likely to get closest to market value by keeping it in the holder. If a PCI coin has completely natural toning, crack it out because
1) coins kept in older PCI holders are prone to acquiring market unacceptable toning
2) buyers might be skeptical that the toning is unnatural because of the holder it's in

A lot of folks do not know that PCI slabs can turn a white Morgan into something like this.
I personally like these slabs if the grade is more or less accurate.
