    And on the Russian website:
"Official examination of coins and antiques by the Central Institute of Historical and Cultural Heritage (an alternative to the State Historical Museum)". Which means what?

I'm guessing they are buying from the same holder manufacturer :) The few examples i've seen seem to be decently graded and the operations seems to be pretty legit. In addition to grading and authentication, the company provide services like metal composition testing (XRF), provenance research, written guarantees and price estimates provided for insurance purposes, courses in numismatics and various publications. They also do medals and other cultural items.

this was my understanding, too, it's kinda like the CACG of Russia copied NGC's slab, why reinvent the wheel I guess?

Seems there has been a systemic failure of the straight face test.

I am more familiar with NNR (National Numismatic Register) which also uses slabs similar to NGC’s and appears to grade accurately.

It looked at the CPRC website and saw
that their services are crazy expensive, starting at over 100 USD for authentication. Not sure how they would be able to compete unless limited to high end coins like the one pictured.

They copy the American company to the point of using English instead of Русский
