Roosevelt dime 1967

Hi this roosevelt dime 1967 , has a letter or a number that can be seen with a microscope but very difficult to see by zooming in with a cell phone. Is there friction with the other coins in the dime roll

    The dime has been corroded so whatever it is was probably caused by that. If you have to use the microscope to see it, it is irrelevant anyway as anything that can’t be seen with 5X would not be recognized by the TPG’s. Put away the scope and get a good magnifying glass. Use the scope only to help identify varieties.

    I see what you're looking at; but look at the coin as a whole and consider all of the marks on the coin from circulation. Can you see how likely it is that a random mark could look like something else?

    Unfortunately, what you're seeing is only post mint damage (PMD).
