I’m not an Athletic subscriber but was able to read it - they may have a free article quota that you exceeded but I haven’t yet?

Is it fair to say one must be an Athletic Supoorter to read?

It will be interesting to see where this wax case ends the 2nd time up for auction. Also…did Heritage take any binding legal action against the winner?

Was wondering if he could have just hired(IOU of course) Gretzky for her next birthday.
I mean the guy took 3 mil for a 10 year contract in 1979 alone. "1979: Gretzky signed a 10-year, $3 million contract with Edmonton"

Lets be real. I pay Gretzky say 1 million dollars just to show up at my house for my wife's birthday. For 1 mil I hope he just doesnt show up but also cater it. I then also pay 1 million dollars for the 1of2 PSA 10 1979 OPC gretzky. I then buy the other 1 of 2 PSA 10 for another million Dollars. All as my gift for my lady. Do I win or should I buy the unopened case and pay an additional 700,000.00 over my 3 mil budget. This is my second chance you know!!

I’ve never seen an issue on buying or selling with Heritage.

Me either - both bought and sold with them and they’ve been very easy to deal with, including being middleman to get a purchase authenticated with PSA that would have been cost prohibitive for me to reship. Nothing but positive experiences for me.

Maybe this bidder won't pay up either.
