I found a few quarters with "IN COD WE TRUST" stamped on the obverse. Are these coins mint errors? Are they rare? What are they worth in VF grade?

Welcome to the forum!
Not rare and not an error.
It sounds like a grease filled die and it is fairly common.

Not errors, not rare, worth 25 cents.

sounds like grease filled die to me to
got a pic or two?
On the newer quarters, the style of the G looks like a C. You have to look closely to see the tail of the G
so the answer is that they are all like that.
This delusion is spreading like wildfire...
It sounds fishy. (Somebody had to say it)
I like my "In God we rust" quarters too
Any die "chips" with that COD? 🤣 😉

Got the same folks coming in shop claiming they found a fortune
All who posted, I give a big THANK YOU!
It’s a G. The unfortunate font the mint decided on is resulting in a lot of misinformation on eBay, Etsy and other social site.

Out here in the field we call them codpieces.
