they want me to change browsers from Safari to Google Chrome. I have been using Stacks for a heck of a long time and last week everything changed and they are telling me that's the way it is. This is why HA.com rules imho

Safari is problematic with a lot of websites. Our publishers online homework system, for example, cannot be used with Safari. I would suggest just using Chrome.

Just logged in / out of Stacks on my Macbook Air (Sonoma 14.7.1) using both Safari(18.1) and Opera browsers with no problemo. Use whatever browser you want.

I also use Safari and just checked my account on my desktop and everything appeared to run smoothly.

Try GC. Easy site to use and they take Paypal.

I just logged into Stack's with no problem from my desktop iMac M1 (2021) with Firefox (Mozilla), no issues. Mozilla Firefox is my default (chosen) browser. That might be an option if you don't want to use Google Chrome. Good luck!

Update your operating system and Safari. If that doesn’t work, then use Chrome as suggested. Chrome is a secure web browser. I work for a major government owned health system, and we’re encouraged to use chrome to use its remote VPN software to access sensitive data when offsite.

I have a work computer with a very old version of Safari (13.1) running on High Sierra, and Stacks still works just fine. In fact I just paid an invoice there.

Stacks contacted me and helped me fix the problem and I appreciate the fact that they did it
