1980 Topps Yankees Team Checklist variation

I know there is a variation of this card. I do not remember if it shows Billy Martin or Bob Lemon as the manager. I also did a Google search and really surprised I just couldn't find anything about this card. Does anyone have a pic of this card? Does anyone know how it was distributed? Was it a prototype? Was it a printing that slipped out Topps back door? Was it a magazine insert? Was it found in packs? I just want to know more about this card. If anyone has any info and/or a pic, please share your knowledge!

I wanna say that there was a color variation on the 77 Yankees Team card w/ Billy Martin... I'm not 100% though...

Thanks for your reply but I am not thinking of any Burger King Cards, let alone anything from 1979.

There is a very rare variation of the 1980 that is not Dick Howser from 1980 Topps.

^ never heard of that for the 1980. But genuinely interested to know more as Thurm is on the card.

This card circulated on wantlists in error & variations groups online back in the 90s and 00s.

The card shows Billy Martin on front and the one or two samples that turned up (ebay, I think) were blank backed, possibly sheet cut cards. I can't recall for certain but they may have also been on thinner stock.

After years of blind buying these from beckett.com and other sources, I later found out that the Martin version exists only as a proof, it was not pack-issued and as far as I know, does not exist with a fully printed back.
