There were a few coin cabinet threads here lately. I thought this one was interesting. Not as fancy as the others. It's not mine.

Interesting. I showed mine off a few years back when I retired and moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
I found this old map drawer cabinet that still had the maps lining the drawers. Decided to put it to use for m”odds n ends” stuff.

When I was younger... I made my own coin cabinet as a 7th grade wood shop project. It was pretty basic, but served me well at the time. Somewhere along the grad school and growing family path, I retrieved my coins and lost track of that cabinet. It was lost forever when my mom's house was sold a couple years ago, if it even survived that long. Now it's temporary storage in a home safe for items on their way to, or on temporary release from, the bank vault. It would be nice to have the coins constantly available. Now I make due with my photographs.

This is my coin work space, I keep the rest of my coins in my 40 Gun Safe (no guns, just coins).

@JWP
I recognize a couple of things in that photo.
Yes, they were from someone in NC. 😄 I built the hutch and got the table from IKEA. I like the Eagle reversestand.
Thanks. Jon
