Which would you rather have 1956 Mantle SGC 2 or 1933 Sport Kings Cobb PSA 1mk

I think both are roughly same value...which do you keep? The Cobb is mine just back from PSA and looking to possibly trade for the Mantle.

For me, that Mantle is one of my favorites. I’m also not a fan of Ty Cobb so that detracts from it for me. It’s a nice piece of history though and a cool card for a pre war collection.
Tough choice. I'm not a huge Mantle collector so I'd probably go the Cobb route. That's a cool card.
that Mantle presents very nicely for the grade. I would take Mickey
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Mantle all the way! King of the cards!
I also like the fact that it's one of his cards from his actual career. Cobb wasn't playing in 1933.
We will never truly know who the real Cobb was but he has not been portrayed well by the media in the last 50 years.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.
I'd go with Mantle. Always liked the '56 design and that's a really nice looking 2. The Cobb is cool, but the markings on the front are really distracting for me.
^^This^^
Both great cards of inner circle Hall Of Famers. I personally am a huge fan of Mick’s 56 card & even if I wasn’t the mark’s on the front of Cobb (especially his face) would lead me towards Mantle. Good luck…not really a “wrong” choice here IMO.
There will always be a bigger market for a Mantle that presents well, than for a Cobb with creasing and pencil on the front.

;-)
Mantle and its not even a close decision for me. I've seen better PSA 1 Cobbs out there with more livable issues.
Opinion as always
I'd go with the Mantle only because it appears to be a higher 2 grade than the Cobb appears to be in it's grade of 1.

Well I did the trade. Very happy.
Cobb all day. You can always get a mantle any day of the week.
Edit to read the post above me.
I was too late.
I dunno… I took a reasonable look at both. It really depends on your collecting interests which may include an appreciation of how cards changed over time. I suppose I would be influenced more by the surviving population. The Cobb card survived the Great Depression. Cards from that time are just tough to find well preserved mainly because it was a different world.
