Pacific Trading Cards Baseball Card Binder

It's been a looooong time since I posted anything on this forum, but have been enjoying checking in on occasion to read all of your various posts. Anyway, I've been collecting Topps baseball card sets since the "wee" age of ten (1973) and am now in my early sixties and have decided to "cap" my set-collecting at fifty years. Back in the early nineties, Pacific Trading Cards was selling a very nice two and three inch brown three-ring baseball card binder (see attached ad) and at the time, I had purchased as many as I thought I would ever need. And then Pacific Trading Cards "closed shop" and wouldn't you know it, I needed more! Over the years, I've found a few on eBay, but as it stands today, I'm still searching for at least twelve more of the two inch version to get my fifty years of Topps sets sleeved and bound. Yea, I could find twelve miscellaneous binders online, but I'm a tad "anal" about having all of my binders be the same binder, it just displays better if you know what I mean. I have attached some pics of the binder and am hoping that someone out there may be able to lead me to someone that might still have some of these binders that they no longer have use for and would be willing to sell . Thanks for reading and I look forward to (hopefully) getting a few favorable replies.

The album photo is exactly what my first baseball card album looked like, same color and everything. I no longer have it, as I wore it out dragging it back and forth to friends' houses for the big trades. I believe it finally split apart and was thrown away. Sorry, I don't have any leads for you on purchasing similar albums. Thanks for sharing, though, as it brought back memories.

  • Check estate sales, local auctions, and basically places that don't specialize in hobby related sales. As a 90s kid I had puzzled as to why so often I'd get identical binders when I'm buying from completely different places and filled with completely different contents. Sadly I haven't kept any of them since I scan and index all my acquisitions and it seemed pointless to put them back into the binders, but they are out there for sure.
