    Contact Nostradamus?

  • The Bears are who we thought they were. That's why we took the damn field. Now if you want to crown them then crown their ass. But they are who we thought they were.

    Enjoy the go.

reason i posted this is because it's my lifelong fav team against my "other" team i keep up with

and at this stage of the season it's very difficult to differentiate between the two

    vegas agrees -- it's a pick'em at my book

perhaps i should plop some coin on a tie 🤨

    hey ya Galaxy...
I could have another Bye-In game, and give you the final score...
though my Cardinals are 3 - 0 Sittin' Pretty on top of the NFC East...and my Bears are at 1 - 2...

Arizona is one of those teams like Seattle that I rarely ever bet for or against.

AZ is a jeckyll & hyde type of team. they have weapons on offense, but the defense is fairly devoid of talent. but the thing is, they always play hard. and there's a saying about that -- hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. so if they go up against a team that's better than them but isn't prepared and/or doesn't execute, they can definitely pick them off. they waltzed into San Fran and did exactly that to the Niners a few weeks ago, and they very nearly did it to the Bills in Buffalo back in week 1.

as you guys know i follow both of these teams and i'm here to tell you that anyone who bets on this game just can't help themselves. they are basically the same damn team at this juncture. don't bet it, but if you must, flip a coin and be done with it.

Yep the issue is you just never know how their opponent will show up against them, and you are correct, AZ is one of those teams that if you let them hang around it's going to bite you hard

I imagine i felt much the same way when tommy came in to play the Patriots for the first time as a Buc. i was torn, but ended up rooting for a Patriots win but a big game for Mr. Brady. it ended up exactly opposite that as i recall. Bucs win and a mediocre game for tom.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
