Really Bad Ali 1807 counterfeit half dollar using a PCGS cert

I wrote a Coin Week article on this family I nicknamed the “1833 type counterfeits”.
This new “gem” is an 1807 dated fake of the family and a counterfeit “PCGS” slab and cert. The PCGS on-line cert had a TruView image and a little digging found the genuine certified one in a Registry set with an image in the holder.
Obviously bad for so many reasons, I tried the Ali reporting process for s&g’s; screen shots of my complaint and then their images in their system.
No false expectations, it will be interesting to see ANY response from this process

once called one of the sellers of counterfeit gold that was marketed as plated. asked about high quality gold plated tungsten and was told they offered some with 100mil plating
never got pictures, so i don't know if it was going to be the same counterfeits with the same tells, but the point is that the ones that follow the "copy" rules can be "selling behind the scenes"

The bust shape more closely resembles 1809 and later varieties, but I’m sure that was the least of the counterfeiter’s concerns.

Tons of bust half counterfeits have popped up this past week on Ebay. This series has usually been safe from good counterfeits, so I hope this will not be a continued trend.

I tried another reporting scheme as "counterfeit" although it wasn't an option in the "prohibited" drop down menu.
