I will be there on Saturday. I wish I could go on Friday to at least watch the live auction by Scotsman, but sadly, I have school that day. The first, and most recent, time I went to this show, there were foreign coins by the pound, which contained some good stuff, as well as a scavenger hunt rewarded by free YN money for a YN auction. Hopefully they still have these. I plan on posting any purchases/prizes as well as sharing my experience - a pseudo-report. Any other forumites going?

Should be a good show. I’ll be there Thursday or Friday.
I live near St.Charles, have a day off on Friday, will be there
If you get some good stuff or any stuff is ok to. Have fun and welcome norm b 🙂
In my opinion the November show is not as good as the July show held at the same location. I hope to be there on Thursday.
Thank you. I have been collecting a year, will be my 1st coin show. Gonna enjoy it whether I am buying anything or not
I have had good luck buying bullion at this show.
I got to the show at around 11:30 AM and about 55% of the booths were still occupied. By the time I left, 1:50, only about 10% of the booths were still open for business. I took with me a 1911 matte proof Lincoln cent (light corrosion), a 1920 BU SLQ (light scratch), 1937 DDO Washington quarter PCGS XF details cleaned, 1942 D Mercury dime NGC MS64FB, 1927 S SLQ ANACS G4, as well as 16 choice to gem proof 1954 Franklin halves. The first booth I went to turned down the Franklins, Washington, and 1920 SLQ. I got an offer of $100 on the MPL, which I declined, and an offer of $30 on the 27-S SLQ, which I accepted. After some searching, I managed to find a dealer who gave me a quote of $350 on the Franklins. Since I paid about $215, and no one else seemed to be actively buying them, I accepted. I also sold the Mercury for $15 to the same dealer, which was less than what I paid, but that was before I learned how inaccurate price guides can be. I wasn't able to sell anything else, but I made a few purchases. I bought a worn Ike dollar for $1.30, an 1891 seated dime for $2, a blue-green 1930 standing liberty quarter for $8, and a PCGS G6 1919-D WLH for $49. I already had a keeper in my album, but I just couldn't resist its eye appeal at such a fair price. I really like its blue-gray surfaces with hints of peach in protected areas.

I got there after 1230 and was able to make a few deals so I left happy.
Next year it’s in a new location.
